Is testing for the PDMM® designation in your future? Combine your conference experience with AADMM’s Certification Review Course to get the most bang for your buck. The Certification Review Course is intended to provide DMMs with assistance and practice to prepare them to take the certification exam. Participants will find additional support to facilitate their study efforts. Attendance does NOT guarantee a passing grade on the exam.

The Business Basics Workshop offered by AADMM is a one-day workshop for those interested in daily money management as a career or those who are new to the profession. This is an ideal opportunity to learn the basics and hear from individuals who are successfully running their own businesses. The workshop sets forth the components needed to perform the duties of a DMM on a day-to-day basis. At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Explain what DMMs do
  • Identify the traits and skills needed to be an effective DMM
  • Understand the steps needed to establish or build a client base
  • Understand the steps needed to jump-start the business
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Conference Intensive — Federal Individual Income Tax: What a DMM Should Know
(2.5 CEU Payroll, Finance Bookkeeping and Bill Paying)

As DMMs we should be well-versed in the area of individual income taxation. This in-depth session will provide you with the tools to read and understand a tax return, focusing primarily on tax issues impacting individuals and small businesses. We will cover what income has to be reported and what expenses are deductible. Specific areas to be covered include medical expenses, charitable contributions, and business expenses. We will also cover recordkeeping and estimated tax payment requirements. We will also discuss the role a DMM can or should take in the tax return preparation process and how we can make that process easier for all parties.
2:00 pm - 4:45 pm PDMM® Certification Exam
Your certification as a Professional Daily Money Manager® (PDMM) demonstrates in a tangible way the professionalism among daily money managers. Through voluntary certification you can validate your skill level and add to your credentials as a leader in the industry. Certification also supports AADMM’s two-fold commitment: to promote high standards of client services provided by members and to support the growth of the daily money management industry, in numbers of providers, in recognition of the field, and in the quality of services provided. A proctored exam will be given on Nov. 6 at 2:00 pm in conjunction with the Conference but applications to sit for the exam must be received by October 1, 2015. 3:15 pm - 4:50 pm Professional Headshots
In a two-minute session with a professional photographer, get approximately 6-12 professional headshots for only $30. You will be able to choose your favorite to be digitally retouched. You must pre-register for this on the registration form. All originals plus digitally retouched photo with full usage rights will be emailed to each individual after the conference.

Learn from a professor who has taught thousands of students how to identify ethical issues in her Business Law and Ethics for Managers course at Arizona State University.
