Call for Presentations!
All proposals must be submitted electronically by using the link below.
The deadline is March 31, 2015!
The AADMM Conference Committee is seeking quality presenters to speak on a wide array of daily money management issues at the 2015 Annual Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, November 6 - 8, 2015. We know the AADMM membership includes experts in various topics and issues, so we invite you to share that expertise with your colleagues by being a presenter at this year's conference. We are also interested in excellent speakers outside of our association that can provide us with exceptional education. Consider teaming an outside expert with an AADMM member. Please forward this to other professionals you think would be appropriate and qualified to speak to our group.
All Levels Welcome
While basics are important, many of the AADMM conference attendees are experienced professionals who are looking for intermediate and advanced levels of training. Sessions should provide all members with knowledge they can take home and put to use in their practices.
About the Conference
This three-day conference brings together daily money managers from across the country with varying levels of expertise and experience. Pre-Conference sessions, which occur during the day on Friday (separate registration required), include a three-hour TBD intensive class. We kick off the conference for all attendees Friday evening with our opening keynote speaker. Saturday is a full day of general sessions, our annual meeting and break-out sessions with free time for dinner in the evening. Sunday ends the conference with a mix of general and break-out sessions.
The AADMM annual conference is an exceptional platform for you to share your expertise, discuss developments on issues that affect the populations we serve and to introduce innovations in practice. All proposals generated by this Call for Presentations will be considered for pre-conference, general and break-out sessions.
About the Selection Process
Proposals must be submitted electronically using the link below by March 31, 2015.
Fully complete the online form, but do not send additional support materials at this time. A worksheet is attached so you know what questions you will have to answer. The committee will select proposals based on overall quality, originality, Continuing Education Unit (CEU) applicability, appropriateness to this program and your presentation experience. Presenters who are accepted will be notified in May.
Handouts are required for all speakers and must be submitted electronically to AADMM by October 2, 2015.
SUGGESTED TOPICS
When considering your topic, keep in mind we are always looking for CEU-qualified sessions - those that provide information we can share directly with a client. We have indicated sessions that most likely would qualify for CEU's with an asterisk (*). For a full list of recertification content topics, click here.
This year, we're also interested in sharing best practices while continuing to go deeper in how-to sessions. Sessions can be directed at DMMs of all levels, serving different client bases, or specific to one level or client type. Be creative! Think about what DMMs need to be successful and share your knowledge. Submit something new or with a different slant.
